Game Contest at www.mountainmuseums.org

The National Mountain Museum and the Musée Alpin of Chamonix have launched an online competition to promote the website https://www.mountainmuseums.org, created by the two museums within the framework of the Interreg Alcotra iAlp project. Interactive Alpine Museums, with the aim of maintaining active communication with users and continuing the development of digital cataloging of materials. After a first edition at the end of 2020 dedicated to the French collections, the second is aimed at the materials preserved in the halls of the Monte dei Cappuccini in Turin.

By clicking on this button Contest, participants will be able to answer 10 questions that have been specifically designed to help them discover the many in-depth topics on https://www.mountainmuseums.org; to do so, they will have to use the online catalog for research, reading its contents and delving into the information, without dwelling solely on viewing the images.

The contest will run until April 30, 2021. Among those who correctly answer the 10 questions by that date, 3 winners will be drawn to receive a prize to be chosen from:

– A catalog of your choice from the Latest Editions or Cahiers of Museomontagna (see www.museomontagna.org/shop) or the catalog “Des musées, un patrimoine, les collections se dévoilent” from the Musée Alpin in Chamonix.
– A private guided tour of the Museomontaga in Turin or the Musée Alpin in Chamonix, valid for 5 people.
– Free entrance for one year to the Museomontagna in Turin or a Pass’musées valid for one year to discover all the museums in the valley of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, valid from the reopening.
